About

yurinohana aims to write passionate yuri stories, ranging from the sweet and romantic to the hot and steamy. Though mainly focused on just sharing straightforward short stories for the time being, I'm hoping to expand into creating VNs or maybe even Twine games as well one day. Those can be a bit harder to go about making, though, so for now, starting simple is best.

Some inspirations for yurinohana's works include the writer Serene Cherry and the Sono Hanabira series. Both have very sweet, gentle love stories combined with amazing sex scenes, and they manage to strike the balance just right. That sweet, though seductive tone is something I hope to achieve within my own stories. (Especially when it comes to the more porn-y offerings.) It was thanks to primarily the Sonohana series and Serene Cherry's stories that I was able to accept my own bisexuality and love of girls, and it's so comforting to be able to express it within writing through my characters and their worlds.

Although I do love sweet, tender yuri stories, there's a special appeal about the dark and taboo, too. Of course, I do not and would never endorse criminal or immoral behavior in real life, but exploring these things within fictional settings has always fascinated me. Besides that, it can be just downright hot! Most of yurinohana's stories won't fall under this camp, but from time to time, there will be works that are either taboo but sweet, or taboo and dark. Perhaps even twistedly sweet? As stated on the main page, disclaimers will be made on the stories that are dark, taboo, or both. Sweet, fluffy yuri is great, but so is the darker side of it. Just like dark chocolate, perhaps...

You may have noticed I swap between using "I" or just talking as "yurinohana" as a whole. For the most part, stories will be written by me without much in the way of collaboration, though I'd love to collaborate with friends and other folks someday, perhaps. That is, if the timing strikes just right. Regardless, I hope you can approach yurinohana's works with a warmth in your heart. I hope to create works that stir emotions, from warm fuzzies, to that gut-wrenching feeling you get when someting is oh-so-wrong but oh-so-right all at once.
